We are pleased tobpresent a workshop with Cecile Baird. This years workshop will feature working from a setup that will be designed during the workshop. Instruction will center on obtaining a well-designed composition as well as a quality photograph. Students will be able to work from the photograph designed in the workshop or once the photo instruction is complete you may choose to work from a photo that you would bring to the workshop.
Cecile Baird is asignature member and 5-Year Merit Award Recipient of the colored Pencil Societyof America (CPSA). After receiving BFA and MA degrees from The Ohio StateUniversity she worked as a graphic designer for many years before turning hertalents to fine art. After discovering the possibilities of thisversatile medium about 15 years ago, she has become one of the foremost coloredpencil artists in the country. Her realistic style and dramatic use oflighting make Cecile's work instantly recognizable.
